Welcome to Station 9's Website
Friendship Fire Department is located on Friendship Rd just outside of Tallassee, Alabama in the community of Friendship. Station 9 has been serving the surrounding community and assisting other departments, when needed, since 1980. There are currently 23 members on the department and 9 fire units in service. Friendship has an ISO rating of five (5).
We are so proud to have a new building to keep our equipment in, and to be able to train in. Thanks to you the community for your support
Mission Statement
Friendship Fire Department is dedicated to the service of our community. We provide fire protection, perform extrication, and ensure the proper handling of hazardous materials. Loss by fire has decreased over 50% since we began which can be attributed to skilled fire fighters and education of our citizens.

For thirty years I have been the chief of Friendship Fire Department and have cherished each year to see the fire fighters grow from rookies to trained fire personnel." "Once we arrive on the scene, we feel we have won the battle if the fire is not allowed to proceed or harm us."
