Friendship FD Station 9
The new Friendship Fire Department is now finished. Measuring more than twice the size of the original station. The new building houses seperate male and female living quarters, a class room, several offices, wash room and a pristine day room with kitchen/dining area. The truck bay houses 2 Engine/Pumpers, 2 Brush Trucks, 1 Rescue Hummer, 4 Tankers and 1 Haynes ALS Ambulance.
The original Friendship Fire Department was built in 1980 and had only three bays. Several years later, additions were made. It was a 7 bay station that housed three engines, two tankers, one brush truck and a rescue truck. The station had a day room, office, bathroom, several rooms for equipment houseing. Upstairs contained a classroom and sleeping quarters.
